learn more about our Senior Designer

Keri Boyer grew up in Gerrardstown, West Virginia and shortly after marrying her husband, Jonathan, in 2004, she ventured to Maryland to pursue a degree in IT.

While working full time as a senior manager, Keri graduated summa cum laude in 2007 with a degree in Web Development and Design. In December of the same year, she and her husband welcomed their daughter, Aislynne, into the world and shortly thereafter Keri decided to embrace motherhood full time for those first few precious years.

During her venture into the early years of motherhood, Keri volunteered all of her design services and expertise remotely from her home office to the non-profit sector in the late evenings, which allowed for her to continue her love for design while still being able to be home with her growing daughter. During those years of volunteering, Keri’s impact in the non-profit sector landed her a position with Reaching Hearts for Kids (RHK) in 2009, a humanitarian nonprofit organization in Maryland, where she presumed the role of heading their IT Creative Department and overseeing their marketing plan through designing information brochures, large format posters, business cards, gift catalogs, and  newsletters that are distributed to over seven thousand recipients every month.

In 2011, Keri departed RHK to join Restore A Child, a non-profit organization based out of Beltsville, Maryland who serves thousands of underprivileged children globally, as their IT Lead and Director of UNOV Design Division. Additionally, Keri’s ambition to plant her feet firmly into the design industry, she opened the doors of Sophisticated Design in early 2011 to provide businesses locally and remotely affordable marketing and web design services from her home office in Delaware.

When Keri is not chasing after her active three year old, you can find her spending time with her husband in their home in Hockessin, Delaware. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening with her daughter, and indulging in her own personal design projects whenever she has a free moment.
